i was running my two old t maxx 3.3 gave some throttle and it shutdown saw smoke coming from the bottom. the ez start will not turn nor will the motor. saw some gray grease looking stuff under pipe . some body please help

did this happen right after startup or after running around a little? if it happened right after start up its possible. pull the glowplug out and see if the engine wont at least turn over

i pulled the glow plug the engine still wont turn and the motor light flashes on the ez start.

the one way bearing may have seized up or something wrong with the gears in the ez start(might be where the grease is coming from)

I'm not familiar with the ez-start, so if sombody more knowledgable comes here, listen to them.

can you spin the engine by hand via the fly wheel? or will the ez start not let that happen? if it wont, pull the ez start and make sure the engine spins freely. if the engine is seized, we'll go from there. if its the ez start, wait for sombody who knows what thier talking about.

Take the EZ-Start off the motor, there are 4 screws at the back of the motor that will allow you to do this. Like alman said, the OWB (one-way bearing) may have 'froze' onto the drive-shaft.
Your piston may be stuck at TDC (top dead center) that can cause the flashing led on the wand. You can use a flat-head screw driver and from the bottom of the chassis, pry against the side of the chassis and this should allow you to move the piston to the bottom. I'd pull the EZ-Start first and make sure there is no damage in the engine.

Let us know what you find.
