does anyone have any suggestion on engine upgrades i broke my 3.3 some ppl tell me axial and some say Picco .26 max and os.08 I'm not looking to do any mods jus drop in and go I'm looking for power and speed wat do u guys suggest

Any time the mill question comes up I always throw the Mach 427 into the mix, I'm in the middle of breaking in an axial .28 spec 1 right now and its proved easy to une and showing great promise. Both are very reasonably priced

The OS18TM was a great engine, but it's been discontinued and replaced with the OS21TM that is considerably higher priced.

There are a few around the $200 mark that come with what is needed to make them a drop-in. Although, most benefit from a better pipe that stock. The picco is one of them. RB makes a few and Sirio has at least one that I know of.

I think you can get an OS 18TZ to fit, which may be a better built engine than the 3.3 was, but I believe you will have to figure out the flywheel nut, find an exhaust header and use a pull-start as it's not made to be a "drop in".

I realy like the OS .21 in my T-maxx runs great lots of power
I have a OS .18 for my Nirtro Rustler but have not put it in yet

I use the Ez start with my Os .21

i got alum arms skids an bumpers i want a engine that could make me do wheelies with that extra weight but I'm really looking at the picco and the o s 21 ....picco mainly becuz of the price

My TRX 3.3 has expired and I'm trying to decide between the O.S. .21TM and the Picco .26 Maxx "red dot".

I'm thinking the Picco has a bit more power (well at least torque) and "maybe" the O.S. will last longer.

The main issue is that I can rebuild the Picco 1 time with the extra $80 -100 the O.S. is currently running.

What do you all think????

My T-maxx has Alum Bumpers, Skids, and Bulkheads and it will wheelies with the OS .21tm. I love how the OS you can run it under extreme heat (here in the desert its hot). Just my two cents. I have never ran the Picco, but i hear good things about them as well as the OS motors
