Last summer I bought a Duratrax Overdrive ST and i've had trouble with the engine since i've had it. I even returned the first engine and they said the rear bering was shot. Now with the new engine i'm having the same problems. I followed the break in instructions to the tee, even watched the video. I run the car on road could this be a problem?? Please help!!!

NO road shouldn't matter.. Is it the .12 or .16 What type of fuel are you running? What is the temp there? Do you have a temp gun? Any IDea of temp of engine? X

isn't it possible if the gears are misplaced and putting presure on the engine's shaft that it would cause problems and wear out the bearings? The new engine would also have the same stress on it and hence the same problems. Maybe you got a lemon?

Novice Rob that sounds like something I should check out because the replacement engine just went. It is a 2 speed mabey there is some type of trouble with the clutch. Everything else seems very smooth.

The engine runs so hot that it slows down. I am running it so rich that oil is spitting out of the exhaust. I will have to check on the type of fuel i'm using. Seems like there is a lot of stress on the engine.
