Ok i have posted a few times and everytime you guys have been so much help so here gos i have a dynamite platinum .21 and my racing buddy just got a new os v-spec .21 what temps should they run at once they are broken in or what temps can they safely run at to make good power and also last. Thanks for the help.

Temps are really relavent and should be used as a guideline. If you do not know how to tune than use it the most to tune with. Other factors to take in consideration, Smoke trail during acceleration, type fuel, ambient temperature..

A common temp to run with is about 220-240 F. Not everyone does but it is the most common.

Thanks we are running the byrons gen2 20% i also have a rb engine and have been told by everyone that it runs best at 250-270 seems hot but i have ran 2gallons through it like that thanks for all the help i just don't want to cook any of them.

Forgive me somewhat new to the nitro what do you mean when you say sealed it Thanks again

its common to "seal" the bacckplate and the carb neck with High Temp RTV silicon to make sure there are no leaks present in those areas. When an air leak is present, tuning it right will be hard.

Tose may be a LITTLE on the high side, but like jon said, if you have good smoke, and are makineing power and all, I would not be scared by those temps.
