engine temp

my nitro sport runs great till the temp of it gets around 280-320 can someone help me out am i running it to hard or what

320% is hotttt... try leaning it out a little. Are you running with the top on?? Have you cut any air flow holes in the windsheild?? May have an airleak.. Have you sealed the motor???

it has always run that hot plus its in the 90s here but no i havent cut out holes in the winshilde the car isnt that old

If it's the .15, around 300 is ok. 320 is a bit too high

What engine are we talking and what are your needle seetings??

I'm running the pro .15 an my carb settings are good i mean i got good smoke fast react time an everthing good to end to

You may want to richen up the LSN mixture just a bit (1/16th of a turn). You may also want to give the engine a bit more air by cutting a hole in the windshield.

two things.Richen the HSN.If this doesn't work set, go back to factory settings

Traxxas motor allways run hot but 320 is smoking richen your hsn and if that don't help reset to factory and retune.
