My engine stalls whenever I take out the ignitor or rev it while it's still in. I'm pretty sure this is bacause it's either too rich or the glow plug is worn out. But I've only been through 3 tanks, so I don't think it's the glow plug, but I'm still new so I don't really know. Is there any way to tell what's causing it for sure?

I have an extra glow plug, but i don't really want to open it if I don't have to

Could be too rich, but change the glow plug first. It doesn't just start the car, it keeps it running. So if you need the constant heat from the ignitor the the glowplug IS still glowing, but may not be glowing properly.

glow plugs can go in an instant, you said you only ran 3 tanks, so the engine isnt fully broken in yet, it takes about 10 tanks and then you always change to a new glow plug, i would put a new one in, there only 5 bucks

+1. I went through 4 glow plugs in my first 10 tanks. One i had to change it during the first tank. I figure they must have been old or somthing.

+2. I went through about 3 glow plugs with my first 8-10 tanks of nitro. I just figured that it was part of the break in process though!

You will probably want to replace the glow plug......I can't believe the others didn't mention that????

If you need to keep the ignitor on to keep it running, you need to lean the LSN. That's the same reason it stalls when you throttle it. It's flooding because it's too rich.
Leaning and tweaking the needles is part of the break in process.

yeah listen to Rolex, hes had some of my stubborn cars up and running that i thought were toast.

but yes i also did go through about 5 plugs in break in and had to change it about every 10=15 tanks using mycoy 59s

ya just replace the glow plug. and r u running the right one. Hot plug: 4 hot climates or summer, Cold plug: 4 cold days an winter, and Warm plug(i think its called): 4 those not so hot but not so cold days. LOL
