Alright, so I have these two spare engines (AE.12 and a Fantom FR.12). The crankshaft on both of these aren't spinning freely. Is there something making the crankshaft stuck? Rusty bearings, old fuel in between, etc.? If so, how can I fix this?

About all you can do is take them apart, inspect the bearings and see what the deal is. It's either rust or tarnish build up. Either in the bearings themselves or on the crankshaft and it's rubbing on the crank case. More than likely just bearings.

If it's rust, you can clean off the crank as best as you can with a wire wheel on a dremel, and replace the bearings. If it's just fuel goo, you can take the bearings out and soak them in DA and try and work the goo out once it softens up.
