hi agian=p
I'm just wondering on if your engine wears out, do you have to replace the whole engine or just the piston and sleeve?

Normally just the pistion and sleeve.... i can't see any reason to replace anymore.

I'm going to start stripping my Axel .28 in the morning and check it all out and seal it all up.... seemed to run fairly sloppy when i last ran it so yea

It really depends on the engine. On some of the cheaper engines, it's not very cost effective and is a better idea if the rest of the engine is in decent shape just to get the sleeve pinched.

What engine is it?

Spending $50 on a new P/S is half the price of new. Then your stuck with a old carb, OWB, con-rod and bearings. The bearings were known for failure and leakage. If you've run enough fuel through it to wear the pinch out, bearings should probably also be replaced if your going to get a new P/S.

I'd pinch it and see how much more you could get out of it while saving up for something a bit better.

i see where olds is coming from but i am really pleased with the amount of power that the axeil .28 pushes out... yes its the only 1/8th i have ever owned and honestly wish i got it earlier but this think hooks

t maxx 2.5 will start with ez start. When i take ez start off engine stops running?Run it in some dusty dirt it rolled over stalled out air filter was off. Took home cleaned engine.can't get it to run by its self only with ez start. Some times when starting engine will like lock up.I take the glow plug out start again.

Some have had good luck with the axial's. I'm not one of those people. ;)
