Not quite mountains but...high enough and some other stunts...but is it dangerous to run with it with the engine plate like that...prob not...that SUCKS !!! wish i had another truck so i can bash the poop out of it !!!
 
welllllllll it isnt id say dangerous but eventually the plate will fail and be useless
 
Or it will flex enough to eat a spur gear. There are quite a few people who make thicker/stronger engine plates (fastlane machine, new era, etc).
 
I had one cracked on me and I ran it for quite some time. I eventually changed it out after I bought a new plate and it was actually in two pieces. The support bar underneath was also cracked.

I didn't do much jumping when it was cracked though.
