It is GIVE and take. So help out every once in awhile. This is a community...good neighbors get helped out more. Bad neighbors always got the flaming bag of dog poo on the door step. Which do you want to be? And I have modded a couple "sacrificial engines" of my own...The one that actually worked out....um maybe you could tell a difference. I think it spooled up a bit quicker....but other than that not much.

I think you hit on the self mod jobs perfectly. They do seem to spool up quicker, or maybe they just sound like they do...
Either way the sacrificial thing is a great way to word it, one slip and you have an expensive chunk of unusable metal in your hands.
