engine locked up need help please

Please help. While running my HPI Savage XL the engine cut out and now the starter won't turn it over. I've removed the plug and it's still locked up. I'm nervous I've done damage to my car which has only had 10 tanks run through it without problem. By the way I had a temp reading when it cut out and it wasn't too hot.

um take your plug out and turn the gear, does the piston move?

I took the plug out and the roto starter still wont turn. I dont see any piston moving.

Try turning the flywheel by hand, don't use the roto start, look in to the engine through the glow plug hole as you turn the flywheel, see if the piston is moving inside the sleeve.

try what ncnitro said if that works then its ur oneway bearing or a gear in ur backplate good luck

You may want to take it off the truck and take the engine apart to see if it's just stuck at TDC or if something busted inside. If your conrod busted, it could be causing it to jam up. But, if it's stuck at TDC, you just need to rotate it backwards with a bit of force to unstick it. Would be best to heat the engine up with a hair dryer or heat gun before attempting to unstick it though.
