Engine isn't starting at all

I had my engine start, but it only lasted for a few seconds. I have all the needles in the factory setting. It started earlier today, me and my brother were starting it. Now when I try starting it, it won't start at all. I noticed that some fuel got in the hole for the glow plug in the cooling head. This was when I had loosened the glow plug. I tightened the glow plug back in and attempted to start it again. It still wouldn't start, the flywheel would spin though, and it took in some fuel. Any help?
 
Yeah, the glow plug is heating up.

But does it glow bright yellow, as Rolex indicated? The plug may heat up, but not hot enough. If the mill is still at factory settings, chances are it's set rich to insure the components are lubricated. What kind of mill is it and have you completed the break-in process yet?
 
The plug glows kind of orange-ish. I'm not sure what you mean by the mill, but I'm still in the break-in process.
 
Mill=engine. Is it bright orange or just reddish-orange, if it's bright then you're good but if it's reddish then you need to either charge the ignitor or get a new plug.
 
It's bright orange. So it isn't a problem with the glow plug. It's a Mugen/Nova MT-12.

Also, while I was cleaning my engine to let out some of the nitro still in there, I noticed that the compression went away. The piston and sleeve are still in good condition, the button head is in good condition too. Is this natural?
 
If you took out the plug to clean it then obviously it's not going to have any compression. However if the plug is in then you might have a problem with your head screws. Since the engine is out of the car you might want to cinch all the screws down just to make sure.

If you tighten the head screws and it still has no compression then I have no idea what the problem is unless one of the moving parts physically broke.
 
Oh okay, the glow plug is out, so there is none, LOL. I never knew that. Anyways, it isn't a problem with the glow plug, so its probably the needles, air filter, or temperature outside.
 
Alright, car will start, but doesn't stay for long. Only for like 3 seconds. Should I adjust the LSN 1/8 turn clockwise?



EDIT: The car starts, but when you take out the glow plug it shuts off.

Yes, clockwise and I would change the plug as well. If this is the same plug you used to break it in, chances are it's spent (which is common). Also make sure your igniter is fully charged.
 
Well I'm still breaking in the engine, so it's still fresh. I'm charging the igniter since I found out that it was dead. Could this be why the engine would stop when I took it out?


Also, I noticed that while tuning the HSN, the needle takes a lot of power to turn it, is this right?
 
All my new engines have had tight needles, once you get a bit of tuning into them they'll loosen up. I'd replace the plug even though you aren't through breakin, and lean the engine a little bit. Use a McCoy MC-59 plug.
 
That's a non-turbo plug though, mine is a turbo. And the one I'm using for break-in is a new one, an OS plug.
 
Alright, new info. I can get the car started without the glow plug in sometimes, but I can't throttle, or the engine would die out.
 
OK if it's a turbo then I don't know what to use. One of the more experienced people should pop in with the proper plug. My bad, sorry.
