Just get a 20% bottle and a 30% bottle from the same brand and mix it, you will get 25%. 25% is the maximum you will find in my country, we use 16% for bashing and 25% for racing, although some people mix it to get about 20%, don't know why.

I can find 25% at my LHS no problem. One of them it seems they only carry 16% and 20%, but the other shop I go to has 25% all of the time.

What is the reason you would use 16% for bashing and 25% for racing? Why not just use 25% all of the time?

Rolex you may be right, but these make me believe I saw 16% nitro. I stop in the lhs to see.

poop I think the capital of Cali used to be in Auburn which is Placer right Strech?
I believe that your right HB, Auburn is still the Placer County seat, about 15 miles from my place which is in Rocklin. Required school studying in History for me.
Placer County as in placer mining for gold. If you drive over to Folsom you'll still see huge piles of cobble stone left over from years mining during the gold rush. This area is definately part of what was called the wild west. Sutter Fort still exists as in General Sutter that was used by the Calvalry to protect us from the Indians while the miners were mining. Now I can drive about 5 miles to the west and go to one of the tribe's Las Vegas style casinos and drop a few at the tables. Shoot there's even a town called Hangtown...string 'em up... you don't suppose the judge had an attitude issue.

Has anyone tried 35 or 40% nitro content? I'm wondering what that would do for my big blocks.

Everything i've ever seen about any rc car/truck says don't go over 30, but I supose if you could fid 35 or 40, and had a disposable engine you could try it and let us know.

I hope to soon have a disposable 2.5 Anyone seen 30+ for cars.
I think they make it for planes. Not sure though. Not into planes.

Higher nitro content shouldn't toast it unless you lean it out to much. It would require more combustion area, another shim should take care of that. As I stated earlier, I can get 35 and 40%. If I were to test the idea, it would be my Sirio 27.
