I have a 14.4v EMaxx, and I wondered what would happen if I slipped my LiPos from my VXL's in it.
It went a lot better, and stayed suprisingly cool.
I have the Venom 20c 7.4 @ 5000mah. They come in a cool plastic casing that sits snug in the EMaxx chassis. You can't secure them but it doesn't matter, I flipped it several times, (as EMaxx does) and they stayed put.
Just remember to only run them for say, 15 minutes to avoid the low voltage problem.

the novak ESC is really not meant fro LiPo so be careful with the overheating (if you run it hard they may still overheat....and never run a Lipo all the way down...you'll see the power drop off real fast...AS SOON AS IT DOES. STOP!!! don't even run teh rig back to you....this is the dangerous part of not using a voltage cutoff...the pack will heat up very quickly if you run it past the drop off point.....you can buy cut offs that will do this for you on that esc as well.....

You can buy low voltage cut offs for the EVX 2? I didnt know that Plaidfish, thanks heaps. Am waiting for the Twin Brushless EMaxx anyway, just playing games with the old one in the meantime.
