Working on converting an Element Trailrunner to a rock pirates-based semi-comp rig.

Specs:
Rock Pirates Interceptor Chassis
ProLine 1993 Jeep Comanche Body
Mickey Thompson Baja Pro-X tires
random 2.2 rims
Old (Like around 15-17 years old) AX10 axles
Hobbywing brushless 2-in-one crawler motor
Reefs RC triple 4 servo
stock radio/reciever

any recommendations on tires, paint colors, or overall upgrades?
(Ignore the mess, It's still a WIP 🤣 )

That looks great man. Nicely done! It reminds me of a pic I saw of a Commanche mud truck with tractor tires. I loved that truck. Same stance and everything. I selfishly want to see it with a set of these on it...

UPDATE:

swapped axles from the old ax10's to the element straight axles. Also put on injora brass 1.9 wheels paired with Pro-Line Hyrax 1.9 G8 tires. i swapped the shocks to the stock ones that came with the trailrunner. i think they're 80mm oil filled shocks or something. just ran her in the snow in RWD cuz i seem to have misplaced the old front driveshaft, but she still managed to find some grip🤣

I'll post pictures with the body off in a bit
