Electrical Drawings

Anyone here have a decent program they use to create electrical drawings? I have solid works 07 and autocad 07 but they seem too complicated for the simple diagrams i want to do. I just need to start documentation on the wiring i do here so i can reference it later.

what about visio? it has the stuff you need i think. you can also download different templates or make your own for different hardware.

Yes, this would be my suggestion as well. My company uses Visio for all of our power work, so it may be worth looking into.

i actually downloaded the demo, installed it and then let it expire before i used it. It looked pretty cool so i may have to check it out again. Thanks
