I have a bad clutch shoe apparently. Getting to it is a pain in the arse. Should I remove the transmission or what? That appears to be all that is necessary. Or do i have to remove the engine entirely... God!

Take off the engine, then the clutch bell, then pop off the clutch spring and then pull the shoe off. Its no big deal.

thanks hah i've already dis assembled it now I have to wait for my part :( You should see it.. Looks like one of the two metal prongs broke off the flywheel, now I have to replace that too. Hah I guess driving with no clutch took its toll!

Post broken off the fly wheel? Really? I have never seen that before....seriously give us a picture. I could see how that could be a bit of a buggersome problem. I have had shoes shatter, springs break, clutch bells strip....but never had the flywheel break. Sorry mate that does suck......happens to all of us.

Glad I took the short route! I was planning on removing the huge gray transmission to get to the clutch bell. Anyways, I found an entire stock clutch assembly(Including flywheel, clutch bell, washers, e-clip, clutch shoes, spring) for $8. I love ebay. I'll post a pick if I can figure out how! THX!
