So what am I looking at here as far as parts...

I have an older TMAXX with the .15 pro, no real mods. Looking to replace the engine. Thinking about the 2.5 TRX, but if the Sirio is worth the $80 extra...

What's the easiest way to get this installed to my current truck? I was assuming that getting the Traxxas .15 to 2.5 upgrade kit is going to be necessary to get the rear exhaust manifold, crank for the carb, etc. If I get this and the Sirio, what else is needed? I'm assuming I'll have to either get a pull starter or the EZStart 2, but what else would be missing from the upgrade kit, or not reuseable from my current .15 truck's parts?

Thanks for any info.

well I just converted what you need is

1.2.5clutch nut
2.pullstart or 2.5 easy start.
3.2.5 linkage kit.
4.2.5 pipe or sirio pipe.
5.Mcoy #9 glo plugs
6.2.5 pipe coupler.

if you can find the 2.5 conversion great get that

Did the Sirio come with a rear exhaust manifold?

How much did your total parts run you $?

Kornkid, can't you just get the 3.0 (.18) with a rotery carb so you don't have to mess with the linkages?

You can, but it is more money to get the rotary version.

Isn't the slide carb supposedly more responsive?

That's what I remember the case being from my on-road days....
