Well, I've run into something else in my Revo/Slayer brushless conversion. Obviously it can't be reversed with the motor due to the 2 speed that's in it. Is there a different trans for the E version?

Yeah, but I'm not sure about fitment. You could take the first gear off of the one way bearing and lock the second gear somehow, then put the owb back on as a spacer. JB WELD!?:whhooo: Then adjust your spur/bell combo accordingly. Or maybe an older single speed s-maxx tranny? Lastly you could use a servo to reverse the trans but it wouldn't hold the power of brushless. That's all I can figure off the top of my head. I was once going to convert my revo to electric but I never thought of the reverse thing. Must be the conversion kits are intended to be forward only with a servo on the brakes.

I tore it all out, and what I got was the trans with the FOC, center diff. In one of the boxes of Revo parts I bought I found enough new gears and parts to rebuild and restore the trans to stock since I'd really like to run a 2 speed in an electric.
Wish me luck, all the videos show how to install FOC, so I guess I have to watch them in reverse. :hehe:
