Hey Guys,

I have tried modding my stock emaxx chassis to work with my 4200 packs. I have come to the conclusion that this is not going to work. Do they make an aftermarket chassis that will work without me having to upgrade the front and rear ends? I just want to unbolt them and then bolt them back to the new chassis. I also do not want to lengthen the center drive shafts. I just spent a pretty penny on the MIP setup. I am tired of having to mash $60 packs into that chassis. It is starting to take its toll on the packs. Thanks guys.

Would anybody know if the GMaxx chassis work?

I will put my 4200 pack into my GMaxx chassis tonight to confirm it will fit in the slots.

Thanks for the info guys, and thank you Robmob for taking a look for me. If they do in fact fit, it may be a solution to my problem. Although it would mean that I would have to scrap the center drive shafts I have now. Thanks again!

Umm, I'm pretty sure that an e-maxx is electric so this whole thread is electric related.

Are you really adding anything here?

6 cell 4200 pack fit fine in my GMaxx chassis. It's not a perfect fit in all the slots, but it's is good enough with the foam pads on the chassis and can be easily strapped so they don't move.

Thanks Rob for checking on that for me. I really appreciate it. I am looking at the GMaxx setup, but the price is a bit high, well at least to purchase it at this time of year, with Christmas just around the corner. I am also looking at New Era, ACNCM, and Hardcore chassis'. This should be a fun winter project. Thank you for the info my friend.
