I just installed my picco .26 with the newera enigine mount and the header that came with the 053 does not wrap around the ezstart. I thought this was supposed to fit the picco .26 with ezstart.

Anyone have a picture of a revo with a .26 with ezstart and 053 sidepipe?

Thanks for the picture. Yeah after all the posting I did on this site and others, no one told me that it wasn't going to fit with the ez-start. I flipped it around so it runs down the center of the body under the lid and made a bracket to hold it. The exhaust runs through a tube and exits out the side of the lid. I actually kinda like it like this so far, Tansmission is still adjustable all carb screws still adjustable. It would have to come off to adjust the rear srings but that's it.. I'll have to drive it some more, I just finished break in. O, I did have to remove the roll bar/handle, but I'm making another one to fit.

Just an FYI the EZ start wont last long with the Picco.

as long as you put new gears in the ezstarter it will be fine, i have an ez start on my revo with a picco .26 and i have had no problems since i replaced my gears, at first i was mad cuz it quit working and i had to go to a pull starter but that gets to be a pain in the @s$ pulling the cord to start that engine, but since i replaced my gears i have had no issues what so ever, just my :2cents:

I have an extra ez-start if this one craps out and since the motor is new I turn the flywheel by hand, which is quite hard with this motor, to BDC before I turn it over the first time so it's a little easier on the ez-start. It should be fine.

If you don't turn it over with the ez start while it's flooded, it'll be fine. The ez start's a pretty tough unit when used correctly. If it doesn't break during the first gallon, it probably won't break at all. Besides under normal wear and tear circumstances.
