is the elevator stick suppose to return to center after it is released??
 
I think so. The only stick that will stay where you put it is the throttle. If you don't like flying that way, there is a way to open the TX up and remove the "spring", from the gimble. I'm not sure exactly how you do it though. I say "spring", because it's a flat piece of metal that has been heat treated, not a coil spring.
 
the only reason i ask is i got a complete dx7 system minus the receiver and i was gonna sell it but i wanna make sure it isnt broken..
