Savage by far.. Savage has proved itself to be the toughest MT out there.. And duratrax, well its duratrax. Granted I think this truck looks like there best design, its not even a option when put up against the Savage. Duratrax doesn't have to many fans. You could probably count all of them in here on one hand.

My lhs carries this model, and when I was in their last week there was another customer who had just bought one and he was disappointed with it. He said it was slow and he had broke a few parts on a jump with a pretty good landing. I would definatly go with the savage.

I do have to admit there warranty is pretty impressive. Its still a duratrax though.. I havnt gotten to see it, but I've read about it, and it all seemed kinda impressive, but again its duratrax..ya know?

I looked at it. Like Andy said you could count the Duratrax fans on one hand. Have fingers left over.
Savage. No contest.

Do a search on both and see how much aftermarket support is out there.

i would agree with the majority go with the savage because u will savevage some money on buying parts. my local hobby shop owner calls those trucks durajunk. lol i agree

stay smart get a savage

I cannot say Duratrax is bad,due to the fact that I have three co-workers that own Nitro Quakes and they have not had any problems.
I owned a Savage .21 and then upgraded parts and engine to a .26 picco. I then sold it, due to the fact they are not very impressive on a track. But they are the best trucks for bashing. I never broke a part on my Savage in two years except for the damn pullstart.

You need to ask yourself what you are going to do with it. If bashing is all your going to do, the Savage is the best. If you are going to run on a track from time to time, look elsewhere like maybe the Hellfire kit version.

"I've learned to pay more now then to pay for the upgrades later".

That's just my :2cents:

Going from experience and comments from so many fellow Savage owners,go Savage if its the ultimate basher you want.It takes a beating and comes back for more

Duratrax is not as bad as some claim,I have the Evader ST Pro,Mini Quake SE and both are quality products. The Warhead is too new to say it will hold up or fail as a basher.
