Duratrax evader parts

Hi there i went to my hobby shop and i was lookin for an xxx-nt but they didnt have any in so the guy started telling me about the evader and i couldnt help myself that .18 os engine looked too good. So now I've brought it home and I've opend it up decaled the body and it came with a starters kit in it all you needed was fuel but i got a batter glow igniter, extra glow plug, and a glow driver. But the starter pack had some wierd stuff in it that i wasn't sure what it was. There was this lil blue bottle of something I'm guessing it filter oil and a flag thingy well Look here

Wow what a day! I started her up well it took a bit i think i flooded it a couple of times so i took out the glow plug and gave her a few tugs then i got my lil brother to hold the trigger down 1/4 throttle and then it started but i couldnt get it to start regularly with out the 1/4 throttle but i did the break in as per the manual and then at the last break in tanki just skid the curb and the tire caught the curb and went right into not a WOT though but after that i could only turn left so i shut it off to inspect the damage and i wasn't sure what happend cause there was nuthin broke but when i flick on the radio and reciever and tried to turn right it sounded like a gear in the servo was stripped so that was that and then i got board and went back out the finish the break in with only left turns and i was finished so i filled her up and started seein what it was made of and then my brother rammed me with his radio shack monster truck and broke a knuckle so that ended my day now I'm goin to the hobby shop to see if they can fix my steering get a new knuckle and see if they can cut a hole in the windshield (didnt have one stock) so theres my story. Sorry bout the long sentence lol

You are supposed to put the flag on your antenna, so other people know what freq you are running. I broke a knuckle on Friday night as well. I don't know what the little bottle of oil was.

I went to my hobby shop they said it was air filter oil. It better be cause after they said that i used i for my air filter. Some of the parts on the evader are pretty flimsy well the plastic isnt as stong as i hoped i rolled it and cartwheeled it a couple of times and some broke the front shock tower nuthin major juts where the screwes go in it broke but i just did a homeade brace thingy well it tugged the shock tower down with a bit of string so it doesn't flex. But anyways when i was at the hobby shop just to buy some knuckles and ended up leaving with $50 worth of stuff. Well my servo stripped a gear so i had to replace that pretty much had to take the whole front end apart but i got it fixed and the knuckle was a quick fix. I also got a temp monitor too. Well at the end of the day i couldnt get it to stop wheelieing (SP) IT was fun but almost uncontrollable I flipped it on its back once too from gunnin it from a standstill. I dont know if you have evader but the air filter it one pieco of **** it plastic like flimsy moveable plastic from the filter to the carb but ill be fixin that soon. Oh and one last thing how do you insert the glow plug into the engine cause my glow plug driver might be wierd or somethin cause the glow plug goes all the way in driver with no threads showin so sometimes i use my ignitor to put it in lucky i had the c batt backup ignitor cause the other one ran out. Hey aboput the shock tower tel Duratraxx they will replace it with their 2 year stress warranty.

yeah i will i broke a knuckle front and back a rear sock tower so ill be getting a whole bunch of stuff for free. crappy duratrax
