DuraTrax Evader EP ST: Any Good?

A few weeks ago a guy was using one at the track. While being one 2 wheel drive I was pretty impressed how it handled the track. Definately a good starting point to work from.

That is a good first truck for kids. My seven year old loves it, and it does pretty good. After a few weeks, get rid of the stock motor, and go with a Birdman or something better. I seemt o break alot of servos while racing htough. 2 servos in 6 weeks, but that is the only thing that broke so far.

Others having issues with the stock servo breaking gears, try this setup using this servo saver...

Note that you have to turn the ball nut around so it is facing front. My kids have not stripped out any servos for the past two weeks. I use it on my Nitro Evader too and works great. OH YEA, you also need to tighten down the stock servo saver otherwise it will be too loose to work properly.
