picked up one of these kits, interesting build.nice quality,good manual (a bit dark for my aging eyes) ,some of the metal parts required a bit of finessing, but thats the fun in kit building..it is almost done,i powered it with a tekin rx8 and 550 can 4.5 turn 4 pole sensored sc tekin motor, never used tekin before so this should be interesting. there is only one thing i don't like with this truck and that is the use of 15mm hexes,why? hopefully strc or someone will come out with a standard size hub for it. i have 10 sets of sc tires and i don't see the need to buy another assortment of them. aside from that,thumbs up....:D
 
its alive! hooked up the electronics to a stick pack,bound the receiver and she is alive...saddle packs and tires should be in tomorrow...:D
 
I have heard nothing but good things about the durango kits. The 15mm hexes would definitely be frustrating but I am sure there is already or will soon be a decent 17mm mod for the rig.

Post up some video when you get it running or at the very least some pics :)
 
got the saddle packs and tires all installed just need to run it,weathers supposed to be wet tomorrow,maybe get a chance monday....
