That's exactly why i dont't drink as much as I used too. It made me become a different person and not a very nice one either. I agree with you on the pills I have a friend of mine who is in rehab right now because she couldn't leave the pills alone.
 
In Texas we have what they call "pain management clinics" they are doctors that write prescriptions... here is how hard it is to get 100 hydrocodone pills... go to the pain management clinic and pay your $65 for the doctor visit... telll him "doc my feelings get hurt when I'm out of drugs" and he writes the prescription... and sends you to the pharmacy that will fill them for you... and for the guys who sell the pills... they have to get up early to make their 1st couple appointments... go to 3 or 4 of these clinics in the day and you got your stash... remember the name of the doctor who killed micheal jackson??? he runs a few of these clinics in houston... i was surprised that it wasn't brought up more often during his trial.
 
Pills, alcohol, meth, heroine, coke, and cigarettes all made or manufactured by man and all of these have devistating side effects and are highly addictive. Pot found in nature been on this planet a hell of lot longer than we have. Has many medicinal properties plus you can make just about anything from rope to tee shirts and shoes from hemp. I have yet to hear of one single person dying from a pot oversdose. Or beating the crap out of their old lady because they were high on pot or killing somone in a car crash because they were stoned. I like to smoke pot yet I'm not out robbing people or breaking into someone's house when I don't have any. I can go for days, weeks, even months without a joint. But I'll be damned if can't go 24 hours without a cigarette. The point is if it's man made more than likley it's gonna be 10 times worse for you than anything good Ole' Mother Nature can provide.
 
I have smoked alot of weed also. I dont think its a gateway drug and have no problem with it but I dont smoke anymore. Never did anything else though, not even cigs. There is a big problem in my town with it. A area known as "southside" is the bad part of town. Houses blow up every couple months due to meth labs. My uncle got into crank he now has a deviated septum and a RUINED life. My cousins mom also was into it or still is not sure. She went to jail for trafficking and possession after her boyfriends trailer blew up. Alot of my friends from high school are into it. Its sad to see. It really does ruin lives I hate it.
 
in take stuff that is harmful to your body, i feel sorry for you. may be you will grow up some day.
 
I was hanging out with a girl I knew in high school and has legitimate bak problems and she was like I don't abuse my pills. In the few hours we hung out she took 2 somas and 4 norcos.... I mean I have taken one norco and it killed any pain I had. Pretty sure that's abuse lol didnt hang out with her after that...
 
Although I dont smoke pot any more I do KNOW that it does have legitimate medical value. People in alot of pain, such as cancer patience, have every right to use it in my opinion.

But everything else, coke, meth, yada yada yada is just dumb.
 
I'm going to toss up another postcount +1 and agree with Lloyd, Marijuana has legit medical use indeed, but IMO if it dont grow from the ground naturally without being processed or cut or whatever, shouldnt be illegal, yeah I know the coca plant is natural, but very dirty to get into.

The plant has to be processed to wind up with the final product though. I'm with you all the way, can't say more as I'm at work at the moment.
 
The marijuana argument has good points on both sides of it. But it is like alcohol, it can be abused and over used. The benefit to the economy if it would be legalized, but managed way better than where it is legalized now, would be epic. From growing to sales it would create MASS amounts of work, and again, if it was just managed well, then it prolly wouldnt become more of a problem than alcohol. Just make good laws to support it.
 
ANYTHING can be abused....hell you can abuse water...and it will kill you....
