Hey guys. I bought a new forward only 3.3 tranny from evilBay a few months ago to drop into my Maxx. I have since changed my mind and just kept it in my parts box. Well, last week I bought a used Revo roller. I'm not sure which one it is (3.3 or 2.5r). I wanted to drop in the 3.3 FO trans. Is this just a simple switch out?

i have no idea, i dont own either one of those cars but my advice to you would be just to take it out and try it, if it dousnt it dousnt and not much work went into it.

Yes, it is just a matter of replacing the current tranny for the 3.3 FOC tranny. You will need to remove the Opti-drive module and the reverse servo as well.

Unless you have a rear brake, then it won't fit in the 2.5 chassis. Just found that out the hard way. had to buy a 3.3 chassis to put my platinum trans in.
