This is my 1/8 Stadium truck project, I'll continue testing it next weekend, I'll post some action shots and videos next week. It has .27 engine and 2 speed, allthough next test will be with center diff, as it will be done in a narrow track. Hope you like it.

Looks cool Kazi... What stadium truck was the starting platform for this project?
Should be a front runner against the heavier truggies...

The starting platform is a 1/8 buggy like most of the truggies, I can't tell you wich one it is as I'm dealing with a couple manufacturers to go ahead with the project, the best of the car is under the body but they don't want me to show it untill we get a deal and the production is started, I just wanted to see wich was people first impresion with this couple shots, is :OMG: or :nono: ?
vbgagnon, the body is a modified Crowd Pleazer 2.0 MGT, LST, TNX Proline Body.

Very nice! Should give the Hot Bodies Lightning Stadium a run for its money!

My only criticism is that there doesn't seem to be much ground clearance at the lower sides of the body (where the sills/rocker panels would be on a 1:1 vehicle body).

Perhaps raising/extending the rear wing supports would permit the body to be mounted a little higher?

retail price has to be decided as I allready don't know if I'll go ahead with a PRO version only or if I'll make a RTR, anyway the price will be more competitive than other cars like LIghting ST PRO . My target is to be able to offer the car in the 400 maximum range .27 engine included. sounds good?

400 euros or 400 dollars?

400 euros with a .27 engine and a high torque steering servo included would represent good value, that's about the same price as a basic 1:8 RTR buggy here in the UK.

400 USD would be even better!

lets say 400, currency between Euro and $ goes up and down and who knows what will happend in one month or month and a half if the car is finally released. At this time I'm personally working in the first 20 units because some spanish friends don't want to wait for the mass production, they will pay 450 for the car + engine. Man I feel ashamed that they trust so much in the Drider, they have even seen the inside pics and they are allready placing orders, that's unbeliable.
