According to the US Dept. of Health & Human Services

a. The number of physicians in the US is 700,000.
b. Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year is 120,000.
c. Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.

Then think about this:

a. The number of gun owners in the US is 80,000,000 (yes, eighty million).
b. The number of accidental gun deaths per year (all age groups) is 1,500.
c. The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .0000188.

Statistically, then, doctors are about 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS A DOCTOR.

Alert your friends to this threat. We must ban doctors before this gets out of hand.

(As a public health measure, I have withheld the statistics on lawyers, for fear that the shock could cause people to seek medical attention.)

Gentlemen (and our few ladies), I belive it's time we start some sort of Doctor Control Act. We can't have these doctors anywhere kids can get their hands on them. How sad would it be? A child finds his dad's doctor in the closet and decides to show him to a friend. Next thing you know...BANG!!!! One child lies dead on the floor and the other is in the corner crying and shaking...saying over and over "I didn't know he was loaded. I didn't know he was loaded..."

I lived in South Africa for a few years while working there.
I bought a Glock Model 17 for personal protection, through legal channels and got a concealed firearm permit.

The new (pro-Socialist) government want to ban legal handguns, due to the increase in crime.
Now, as Bender (Futurama) once said, "ever heard the old phrase 'does not compute?' "
They had this lobby organisation, similar to the Brady Comission called "Gun Free South Africa"!

I made a bumper sticker for my car that read:

Gun Free S.A. Suck My Glock

Legal handguns are not the problem, illegal weapons are the issue. Sure the politicians can't address the true problem, so they attack the law abiding citizens' rights!

Now I live in England where handguns are banned alltogether.
Man, they even wanna ban 6mm BB replicas, the Brits are softcocks.

Sure, you know how many doctors get hauled over the coals in the UK for making deadly mistakes. It's like a weekly occurance.
