OK, is it possible to copy an animated .gif into a static .jpg file? The animated .gif that I have has a transparent background so that will work fine. I have PhotoShop and ImageReady to do this in. It just seems that if I try to paste the .gif into the .jpg, I only get one cell. Unfortunately, I'm a bit techno-retarded when it comes to this kind of complicated crap.

Never really try that before. But, what I did is screen capture and paste it into PS.

Yes it is. you can take any gif into photoshop. Problem is, once you alter it in any way the animation will no longer work. If you save it as .jpeg (Joint Photograph Expert Group) Image, the animation will also be lost. it pretty much only usefull to take a "snapshot" of a .gif image.

I use animation shop pro...comes w/ paintshop pro...real easy to use and you get both progs (paint shop pro & animation shop pro) for like 50-60 bucks.....
