well guys idk what happened with my lx one I just put a new rear diff in ran one tabk thru .and ran great no problems. filled her up and me being me I forgot to raise the antenna on my radio took off flipped over in the ditch and ran wot for bout 10 seconds. when this happened bearing in the clutch come out. no big deal bearing was on the ground so I fixed that but now no matter what I do the thing wont stay still thought maybe a clutch spring broke bc I've had the same prob b4 but thats a no go. the only thing I can figure is that one of the springs or all of them stretched when the beaings came out and its causing the clutch to engage to soon. this is literally the only thing I can think.

i did the springs look good pads are pretty worn so i ordered a new set and some springs i actually ordered a whole clutch kit off ebay for 20 bucks never hurts to have a spare bell and flywheel around

I bought a set of OFNA alloy shoes/springs and for the life of me, can't figure out how to install it. I damn near broke a screwdriver and stabbed my self 3 or 4 times, then gave up and threw them in my parts box. Sucks as I paid $26 for the shoes at my LHS, but I really can't install them. I think I ended up putting a spare set of savage alloy shoes/springs on it that I snagged off ebay. The springs that came with the OFNA shoes were way heavier and shorter.

I was having trouble installing mine at first but then i took a baby Phillips screwdriver and stuck it thru the first hold and spring to keep the hole in the spring from moving and making it unable to be pushed down when i pushed the lil tension part back to slide it down worked really well

ended up not even being my clutch tho it was actually a really bad carb leak.

I'm thinking the flywheel nut I have was too large or something as there was no way that thing was going to fit. The shoe behind would hit the spring of the shoe in front of it.
