My wife used to never give a thought to my RC hobby.
Now that its a business she has taken somewhat of an interest in it. She even calls me to come pickup packages when they arrive.

Back in the day..... She would just give me the "Look" when to many packages would come. Basically its the same look she would get when shoe boxes and purses would magically appear.

I got RC man points when I redesigned my half of the garage to a workshop and lined the walls of the rest of the garage with cabinets to hold all her shoes. Moral of the story is you need to give to get.

On the other hand, theres nothing wrong with a good Springer episode on the tube. Next time your woman gives youy poop about your hobby, tell her youll give it up...... and she can find you down at the local bar getting drunk and picking up chicks rather then being safe and sound in the garage or the workshop and hanging out with your buddys bashing.

She bought the first one so it's all her fault. She get's annoyed with my level of addiction to it but she realizes how much enjoyment I get from it. It's all good.

my wife doesn't mind at all. i come straight home from work everyday. i dont sit at the bar till 3 in the morning, she dont have to come and pick me up from detox, no strang numbers in my pockit, nothin. she remembers thos days clearly. so rc'ing is no big deal for her, but.. there is a certain jelousy there. i make sure i buy her nice things and that she always knows that she is first(after i rc..eek).. if your goin rc'ing.. ask her if she wants anything or needs something done.. then do it. if you buy somethin, buy her somethin. it works fine for me. but if my wife ever snipped an rc "anything". i'd send her packin.

Yeah she never met the old me and I don't think she even knows how hard I try to be good and all I ask for is a lil bit of respect and a even smaller amount of free time.
