Does anyone think someone will come up with a alternate fuel

The price sure does hurt .And for $33 Gal you would think that there would be a chemist in this hobby trying to do this. I'm sure it can be done.

This is true but you need a large place to ride. Unless someone is trying to build a mini two stroke, like lets say 6cc or even 10cc. This would work just as well.
