i dont know if it works but this is what is says

CONLEY 1/4 SCALE "427" V-8 ENGINE
Conley Precision offers the most incredible 1/4 scale Radio Controlled V-8 engine available. It not only looks, runs and sounds like a real V-8, but it outputs approximately 3.5 Horsepower (and that's stock

and i got it here http://www.monster4x4rc.com/ got to nitro parts then to engines.

yeah there real. Theres a guy at my dads work that has one in a Elcamino Rc. Its a 1/6th scale. He paid over $4,000 for the setup. Its really really awesome though. Ill see if I can snag some pics from him.

Look's cool, but i dunno what you would stuff it into. 1/6th scale is spendy,if your crazy you could stuff one into a 1/8th but i dunno if it's worth it.finding parts could be a hassle.

Not sure if its the exact same as this one, but his is a V-8 and looks identical to that (Minus the blower). The thing sound like a real car.

do they perform better then the regular engines we use?

I'm not sure to be honest. The guy has it more of a mantle piece than anything. He knew I'm big into Rc's so he took it out to the garage and fired it up for me, and did a little loop inside the garage but that was it. The thing was crazy awesome though. It had a full frame like a regualr auto, exhaust like a normal auto and the doors, hood and trunk all opened like normal 1:1's. It also had full interior! Ill tell my dad to ask him if he has any pics he can email me, or even try to get him in here. Its really awesome.

something like that i would everyonce and a while. oh yeah could you find out what kind of transmission it has and how do you start it? thanks in advance

They have vids of them running. Saw an Allison (sp) aircraft engine like that hooked to a pencil sharpener. Serious. Not sure if it was on their site. Seemed like the price was around 6 grand. Don't know about the rest of you guys, but.....

I think I'll use a ball point pen or a sharpie. :hehe:

Here is a link to a few vids. http://www.nvbackflow.com/inprogress/mpegs.htm

They also had a magizine out a few years back on making engines. "Strickly I. C." Had anything from the hit and miss engines to a V12 allison. I subbed to it one year. Pretty cool.

All I can say is I want one! haha, those things are awesome! They actually do sound very real for how small they really are.

You could probally build a rail dragster and just make your own chassis  that would be so sweet!

doesn't sound like a too bad of a idea,i might consider building something like that.

That would be a badass project to work on...but there is so much more to consider when woking on a gas model than a Nitro model. Pretty daunting thoughts.

Some day I'm going to build something of the sort. I want a little hotrod rc. I plan on making as much of it as I possibly can chassis and so forth. And use what ever i can come up with from different brands of rc products to build on bad arse Rod. And of course the most powerfull mill I can get in it :devious:

I'm thinking about building like a sand rail,so when i go to the beach there's a replica.

that would be sweet to build a mini dragster and then have the tires get reall skinny and smoke like real ones....that would be bad ass!!!!!!

Do those things use spark plugs?!?! If so where the hell would you get 1/4 plugs?? I'm amazed they even have a distributor or is it a magneto? Anyone see a alternator?

This would be sick if put in donut patrol with a pair of zoomies like real mts.
