does anyone know what all i would need to turn an ofna ultra into a truggy???

hey i just got an ofna ultra lx and i was wondering how to take the next step, to turn this thing into a truggy. i am wondering about the a-arms, wheels to use, and any other recommended things for this buggy to be turned into a monster. thanks guys...

If I am not mistaken, the Ultra is the same as the 9.5/Violator
If so, go have a good look at an Ofna Blazer SST, that is a truggy based on the 9.5/Violator

Its cheaper now.

Need some way to raise the th/br servo.
Need some offset wheels, and your about set for a BAREBONES truggy.

Don't forget about the gearing. Will have to change that to account for the larger wheels.

gearing don't need to be changed if you choose the right tires komodo dragon's are the same size as a buggy tire just a little wider. the violator is alot different then the ultra lx about the only thing the same are the a-arms

Like he said, if you use larger wheels. Wonder how much more the Panthers weigh compared to a std buggy combo? If they weigh more that would be a reason to regear as well.
