do i have reverse?

hey guys i got a tmaxx that was giving to me by a friend. I'm almost positive it is the classic model (#4910). i know it has 2 speed tranny but do i have reverse aswell? my controll is a tq3 and has the red switch new the thumb. i flip the switch and nothing happens. is that a reverse switch? or do i even have reverse? IDK! I'm a newb to the rc world! there is a barcode and number on the transmission if that helps

Do you have a reverse servo installed? It would be next to the steering servo and a linkage rod would attach from it to the transmission.

nope! but is that red switch on my controller reverse?

Yes, its the 3rd channel. It would control the forward/reverse servo if it was installed.
