See ya later buddy, It was great while it lasted wasn't it. Have a great life and keep up the poetry.

i still have a 800$ street/freestyle bike in my storage room that i built up about 3 years ago and barely even rode....800$ isnt squat in mountain bikes but for street/bmx it is a damn nice bike. the only thing holding me back from jumping back on it is my out of shape lazy fat ass. anyways....I'm sure you can find the cash later to get back into r/c....you gota have somthing to do on the days were your ribs are cracked or your knee is blown out!!

Guess this means we won't be seeing you around here too much in the future. Good luck with the new hobby.

I got a PS2 and a computer, Never really used the RC's much. They barely stayed working. My friend sold his RC's for a dirtbike so there ain't any bashing buddies. It's been months and still no dirtbike so he is thinking about a mini donut maker for his room.

You remember that don't you. Hmm, wasn't that thread brought up recently? I got an e-mail and went ot view it and it was deleted.

All I can say is make sure you have a good helmet. Last year I was out on my bike blazing down a hillside. Didn’t see the rock obscured by leaves sticking up out of the ground until it was too late. My buddy said I hit it so fast that when I flipped, I was still seated on the bike when my head hit the ground first. The damage, 3 cracks in the helmet, wind knocked out of me, left ear tore down about a half and inch. No damage to bike. After a few minutes, I as able to saddle-up, and ride out. Scared the crap out of me. Helmet saved me from some serious damage. Needless to say I went out and bought the exact same helmet as a replacement.

Good luck and enjoy.

I ride mountain bikes alot and drive my r/c's. But a word to the wise on those disk brakes they can get bent and need replacing (I have friends that are really into mountain biking). The bike only makes the rider to a certain extent, but nice bike and I hope you have fun.

Robmob you ever mountain bike up in Rockville by Fairfield? That is a badass place to bike. Killer trails easy and hard. There are a couple of lakes up there that we used to swim in to cool down in the middle of the ride. Another good place was Pena Adobe between Vacaville and Fairfield.

I have a nice Giro Helmet at the moment that I got down at my bike shop last December. Looks great too.

Rockville is where my little mishap occured. One of the best places around to mountain bike.

Ever been to Marin county? I lived there when I was younger. I heard it's great!

Of course we have been to Marin county. Marin is where Fisher started mountain biking. The used to bike all around Tam (mount Tampias sp?). Marin is very close to us indeed.

Lol, Holy poop you guys. I went to the bike shop to check out bikes, I'm still unsure on what to get really. I went and checked and I got to ride a $3000 Full Suspension 27 speed, tubeless, hydrualic brake bike! I rode it into a curb and I rolled over it not feeling a thing! I got to sit there and chat with a friend of mine who works there who I haven't seen in a while and he ofered to take my out to some nice trails and lend me a bike. I'm stoked. I sorta sucks though because it's so hard to settle for something cheaper after tring out the best. I was origionally looking for an $80 wal-mart bike. Then it went to $100 alloy wal-mart bike, then $150 full suspension wal-mart bike, then a downhill style ebay bike.... I've had this problem for as long as I can remember. :nono:
