I just came baack from bashin in the beach, and there is like a layer of sand atleast 1 mm thick..Jeezus. I dunno how to even clean this thing cause its this dirty....if I take off all the electric parts and I hose it down with a hose will the parts rust or anything? Or is it okay. So..........yea help me.:ponder:

When I cleaned my buggy last time I just plugged the carb, took the fuel tank off, capped the nipple on the carb, removed the batts and hit the entire thing with nitro clean. As soon as it was clean enought to handle in the house without getting dirt and grime on everything I took it inside and comepletely dismantled EVERYTHING.

I wound up cleaning each part by hand with a tooth brush, a little dish washing liquid and a big bowl of water. I rinsed everything when I was done and hit it all with a hair dryer before putting it all back together again.

All told it took about 3-4 hours.

I've done that before one, looooong night.

How long have we had this smilie for? :cross:
