Wanted to see what you guys thought about my little project that I did a little while back it was a 1/8 scale team associated chassi that I took the center diff out of And ended up running it with a direct drive from a BLX 185 motor and esc with a 6000mah 100c 6s lipo Sadly I had a bearing failure and it melted the rear differential and the model has been discontinued so I wasn’t able to replace it

Welcome to the site. Sorry about the little mishap. Maybe you could 3d print or have the part 3d printed?

The direct drive looks so right but so wrong at the same time. I like it. It reminds me of the old school rc monster trucks.

I did that same think with a 1/18 scale nitro buggy converted to electric. Dint melt anything. It was a vortex buggy great joy with a 15 turn brushed 540 motor on 2 cell lipo
