Lower turn is more speed less torque. For brushless, higher kv is more rpm less torque. Lower kv is more torque, less rpm. On brushless, say 2200kv, on 2s you spin 16,280 rpm. On 3s its 24,420 rpm. You multiply volts to kv and get the max rpm you will spin.
