Hi all,
I have the Ridgerock 1/10th scale and wanted to know if there's any different body's available for this?
Thanks

Probably but it's not a drop in, but I think there are options. It is a 12.5" wheelbase and I would "think" you could adapt just about any standard mostly 12.3" wheelbase crawler body to it. The front and rear would be 0.1" too long, but I would never notice that.

There are a few catches that I can think of.

The first is you will probably be modifying something, the mounts or the body. The chassis look narrow for a standard body, maybe a comp body would work? A 3D printer would make the job much easier.

Also you will need to make sure the wheels don't get jammed up but.

What is the width of the chassis between the pins? I can measure some of my 1/10 scale bodies.

Sorry for the delay on the reply. The wheel base is 12 3/4" You can see the body clips on the pic I posted. they are 3 1/2" apart. Width of the chassis is 5" I love the Willy's body's, but doubt I could find one that would fit.
Thanks
Don

No worries, projects happen at the pace they happen, we all have day jobs.

The wheelbase is close enough. You might end up trimming a bit, but I don't think anyone will notice a fraction of an inch either way.

My Base Camp body (typical) is about 7.5" wide at the cab, so you will need to find some way to extend those mounts out about 2". You can make (or get a tray/slider), maybe longer posts or some way to make it fit the body. It's going to take some work. It's got to be pretty solid, because if you play hard the body will take some abuse.

All the 10th scale bodies are pretty consistent with the wheelbase. The width varies a bit.

This is the base camp body. I happen to have that one close by to measure.

The standard wheelbase for 10th scale is 313 mm (12.3"). 12.75" is close enough and I don't think any one would notice unless they got out the calipers.

There are a few narrower bodies, on the page above. The power wagon is thinner, but it's also two piece that might complicate things.

The Cliff Hanger is 7" wide

The Coyote Grande is 6.6" wide. Some of the bodies have the width shown in the spec tab.

If you have a local hobby store, they might be able to help you find a good body for it and get some ideas for the mounts too.
