Hello again!

Another question. I am rebuilding the diff's on my Kyosho USA-1 and this is my first time. I think I'm going to run 10/30/3, but I'm not sure how much to put in there. Any ideas? I attached part of the manual with a view of the diff's, so I hope this helps.

I'm not sure if you fill the case up or just coat the gears.

Thanks for the assist!

right about the gears. you need to allow for some expansion. I learn the hard way and packed one up and it locked up.

After looking at the parts explosion, I don't see any o-ring seals. You may want to just run grease instead of oil as it will have a tendency to leak out quickly.

I'd replace all those busings with bearings. Might cost a bit more, but it would last quite a bit longer.

I you do decide to run oil, without seals, run thicker than normal oil and it will stay in longer.

I fill my diffs up to the top of the shaft that holds the spider gears. Seems to work well.
