Going through my diffs, and I did a lot of reading, and I hear people using anywhere from 1 K to 100K silicone oil.

Right now I have a bottle of 30000 Ofna. I put in one diff, and there is definitely more resistance when you spin it now, compared to the stock feel.

1 - If I use the 30,000 in the front & back, how much is it going to change the steering

2 - When you fill it up, how much room should you leave for expansion (how much do you fill it up).

I mainly bash, but I do drive it in the street, and around the house a bit.

I would suggest half fill it, the thicker the oil the more taily, just like a limited slip differential in a car...

Steering will be sacrificed but at the same time you will learn to use the throttle to steer it through the corners, put it in a slide and just start feathering the gas mate ;-)

I run 50K OFNA oil in mine. Didn't really notice a huge difference in steering. The savage doesn't steer that great anyway, so the oil didn't make much difference.

You fill them up to the top of the cross pins inside the cup that hold the spider gears.
