Yes, but they will unload on you more than if you ran heavy silicone diff oil. I used to run grease in my maxx and if one tire came off the ground, it instantly unloaded all the power to that wheel. But with the semi-sealed diffs on the savage, you can use diff oil and gain somewhat of posi-traction.
 
i'm putting the four gear mod in though, doesn't that help with the positraction element?? and how much should i put in, just kinda "wet" it down a little?
 
the spider gear mod does now help with traction it only helps beef up your diff.
