Hello, I just got my Losi xxxnt going again after a long spell on the shelf. It starts real nice and idles, accellerates great but it dies when I hit the brakes. I know, I know....why do we need brakes....just go, but there was this time with a dog....well never mind, it wasn't good. Anyway, I can see the opening on the throttle barrel closes almost completely when I brake and I think that's why it stalls. I cannot figure out how or what to adjust this thing so I can slow down without it stalling. Any tips or links would be much appreciated.
XXXNT, Dyanamite .15 stock engine.
Thanks

Turn on your Radio and your car. DO NOT start it.
Remove the aircleaner, apply the brake and watch the carb close too far from idle.
Now, turn the throttle trim all the way off, and set your idle screw while holding the brake.

I'm with Rolex.Your idle is not set correctly. When you apply the brakes the carb is closing up in turn shutting the engine off.

Plus one more. simple adjustment on the carb and you should be running fine again.

Just in case you don't know what to adjust, keep adjust your idle screw clockwise, slowly turning it an 1/8 of a turn each time, until the engine doesn't die when brakes are applied.

Thanks so much guys! I did it this morning and the thing runs great. I was getting a little frustrated so this is a big relief.
