I took my truck out today, still trying to tune the motor (It stalls when I give it full throttle) and there was a little snow on the ground, and after about 5 minutes of running I lost the ability to steer left. I let it dry and when I turn right it works, and when I turn left it just makes a noise and wont turn.

Any ideas?

Is the noise coming from the servo itself or something else on the car? You may have chipped a gear or something. Pull it apart and have a look ;-)

Its coming from the servo, everything else works fine. It's still bogging on on full throttle starts but aside from that everything seems ok. What should I take apart and look for?

Maybe have to re-center your servo, might be cocked to one side not allowing you to turn that way

Sounds to me like one the engine is to lean open your high speed needle a 1/8 of a turn at a time see if that helps. As far as the servo it sounds like stripped gears take it apart loook at it if it is buy a high torque servo.:D

Bogging means it's running too rich. See post #3. What you are telling him will make it worse.

He said it was stalling not bOGGING!

Still now turning left. Although i dont know if I took the right part off. When I took the screw out both tires could turn independently.

Theres a ticking noise coming from the main steering box. The servo its self isn't making any noise.

Red box is ticking, yellow is the servo.

That red box is your servo, you can see the horn comin off of it holding that long arm to your yellow box

sounds like you stripped a plastic gear inside the servo same thing happened with my backdraft except my throttle servo I fixed it by getting a high torque metal gear servo from work

:) The red box is surrounding the servo. You most likely stripped a gear in it as stated above. Check out Tower Hobbies' Hobbico line. Hitec makes nice servos as well.

Tower Hobbies has good servos but you could also check out razor hobbies they have some good servos
