I was just randomly browsing RC vids on YT when I came across these two vids. They provide solid proof towards how bad the RB superchargers are for a nitro engine. The first is an explanation, the second is the actual running evidence.

The thing that surprises me is that they are made by RB. I have always respected RB engines and i am disappointed by their name being on a sub-par product.

I believe the superchargers are made by "RB Innovations" and the good engines your talking about are made by "RB Products".

Two different companies. One sells crap and the other sells "THE SHI*"!

NBF, but the second vid explains squat, it just shows the buggy being run first without, then with the s/c. Neither does it show the p+l after running or any form of proof over compression rating, proof of temps or anything else for that matter.

The theory video is, well, explanative, yet not.

I Run the RBI s/c with no overheating, no tuning issues and as-new compression. Maybe it's just me and luck. Maybe not. All i DO KNOW, is that my engine runs fine without problems, keeps its tune and doesn't overheat.

Did you read my post joey ? watch the second vid again, NO PROOF, except what the bloke sais. He aint backing his claims on temp or engine compression with any form of visual proof. We can't even HEAR the engine cos he putm music over the video.

Those superchargers are almost as mush $ as a new engine. That was all I needed to see. More moving parts and that tiny little belt? Thing just looks like a gimmick. A vid of it working properly would be cool, Thunder Tiger.

Will do just as soon as i can convince my missus to lend me her micro size vid cam.

I WILL get a video of it running with and without the s/c and take a pic of my heat gun as PROOF of the temp. The vid will also NOT have music over it so the engine note can be heard !!

Now, how to prove the compression visually ??????????????????

Watch this space on the vid front, will get to it ASAP.
