The time is here!!! I've narrowed my choices. Now I'm at sc10,22sct kit, XXXSCT.

Sc10: gets good reviews but is known for being breakable
22sct: really no bad rewiews but is pretty expensive when all said and done.
XXX-SCT: seems like a solid truck and with it I can race in our stock class.

Everyone at my track races the xxxsct and sc10. Very few race the 22sct (most likely because of its price tag)

I'm very close to getting the 22sct kit, I really like the alum chassis and upgraded alum parts and I could through the sidwinder combo in it with the spektrum tx rx and servo kit.

They all seem to be great rigs but I don't know what to do now :) I could buy the losi xxxsct and get the alum chassis and various upgrades out of the box because its only 200.

What do you guys think?

I really want to race in the stock class. So if I got the losi xxxsct I would need to pick up a 17.5 combo. Most likely the Tekin 17.5. Because I don't plan on being a huge racer I don't really wanna drop 700 on a truck that I will race a couple times a month. I have read very good things about the xxxsct but I also realize that it really comes down to a ford vs Chevy. I also really like the fact that the losi has the spektrum rx.

I've have the XXX-SCT, and I have the 22SCT. I raced both, the 22SCT price tag is high because it is a "Race Kit". The XXX-SCT is an RTR truck, and while it is a worthy racer out of the box, you will need to upgrade it. The TLR upgrade kit for the XXX will run another $130, but it will eliminate the flex in the a-arms (which is really bad).

I built the 22SCT kit, it's a solid race truck and handles worlds better than the XXX.

Either are good, but if you buy the XXX-SCT and get serious about racing, your next truck will probably be the 22SCT.

Where might you have found an aluminum chassis for the XXX-SCT?

I haven't :( I was just saying but I guess you can make one for it because of licenseing or something? Going to the hobby shop right now and will hopefully come home with a new truck!!
