Taramp is a Brazillian company. I don't know if they build their own amps on site or China but they are pretty good amps for the $$$! 😎

Beautiful work here!!! 😍
You are right. They are made in Brazil. That's one of the things that make them stand out and attracts people. For the money, they are pretty good. I just don't like the ones with the fans. The fans are pretty loud.

I haven't been into car audio for a long time, but way back in the day, Orion made some killer subs. A friend had a pair of 15's that blew your hair back, and they even sounded really crisp for 15's.

Not to revive this thread. But, the sub/amp combo boxes have come a long way in the last 10 years.

In high school I had 2 12” JL low profile subs behind the seat of my truck. Now, I just have a little 10” Rockford fosgate all in one unit in my Civic. Thing hits HARD… I was expecting just a little extra thump, but i actually needed to turn it down quite a bit. Something that I almost overlooked and I bet a lot of people would overlook as well since they were pretty lackluster a decade ago. Stupid easy to install and it has the LOC built into the box, so I was able to retain my factory radio without any extra wiring.

They’re pretty affordable too. I think I paid like $380 for it… which is pretty cheap considering it has everything. Not nearly as full and boomy as an actual setup with a ported box. But more then enough for a stock sound system or someone on a budget.

I had cars with multiple subs in them. Now I'm down to one shallow mount 10" Kicker L7. It hits harder than I need. I'm over the big boom now, but my kids are into now. I really enjoy building their systems. I wish I had a system like theirs when I was a teen.
